Radix H2 2021 premium domains report: revenue closed just shy of $3M

Radix shared its bi-annual premium report for the second half of 2021.

This report gives a full overview of the premium domain sales across the Radix nTLD portfolio from 1st July 2021 till 31st December 2021.

Some key highlights from the report include:

  • Premium retail revenue closed just shy of $3M; this includes $1.81M in renewal revenue
  • A total of 1,378 new premium domain names were sold .Tech, .Store, and .Online were the highest-grossing TLDs with respect to premium sales
  • Highest new premium registrations can be attributed to GoDaddy at 40% of total premium sales.
  • Over 70 domains were registered with a tier price of $5,000 or more.
