82.5% of .eu domain names are connected to a web server

In an effort to further understand its customers and maintain the .eu “competitive” edge, EURid has completed the 2nd part of the .eu website categorisation. (You can see the first part here.)

In November 2020, EURid crawled 150,000 .eu domain names.

These are the latest findings on the use of .eu domain names:

• 82.5% are connected to a web server
• 77,760 are having rich content websites
• 81% of the domain names had the potential for activation of mailboxes
